'And he shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endure unto the end,the same shall be saved' (Mark 13:13).

Jesus came to this earth to save mankind, not because we deserved it, but because of God's love for us. Throughout His ministry doing good, and teaching men about God and how to love each other, many rejected Him. In  Nazareth, His hometown, He was rejected and some even tried to kill him. Here Jesus is saying to us, the same spirit that led men to hate and reject Him, will also hate those who follow Him. When you give your life to Jesus you will face hardship and difficulties; you will experience trials and persecution; but you should not be discouraged. Revelation 2:10 says, "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death; and I will give you a crown of life." What a wonderful promise!
We need to study and memorise the word of God as we prepare for what is to come; so the Holy Spirit can bring them back to us in times of adversity when we need them the most. Through prayer and supplication we need to look to Jesus, as the Holy Spirit strengthen our faith. Men who don't know Christ or because of pride, have not acquaint themselves with  Him, will be led by Satan to hate those who love and follow Christ. It is important to note that those who are saved may face hardship to the end, as those before us; but just know, it will not be forever because Jesus will come and vindicate His people. Amen!
When trials and hardship come, stand for God; when persecution comes still stand for God. Trust Him and endure, don't compromise. You are not alone. God will give you strength to endure, to be overcomers. Pray for strength, wisdom and understanding; for the power of the Holy Spirit to see you through these difficult times. It will be worth it! Jesus soon will come and grant you eternal life, just be faithful and true as you stand the test of time.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
