'God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect' (2 Corinthians 22:33).

We all encounter difficulties, hardships and temptations at some point in our lives. Maybe for some of us on a daily basis. But it is our total reliance on God that will see us through these trying times. It is times like these we recognised that God is present; that He is right by our side. He is our strength and our present help; our power and strong tower; our way maker who makes our way perfect. Isn't God good to you? Then be thankful to Him always; align your will to His will; rejoice in God's goodness, having a heart ready at all times to praise Him for His goodness. It is in difficult times that we become overwhelmed and are in  need of a helping hand. Jesus is near us, bidding us to come to Him with all our burdens and difficulties. We can overcome these difficulties when we allow  God to clear the way; to go through that path He has open up for us. We must follow His word, keep on that pathway and  keep our faith steadfast in Him. When things seems to be going well for us, with our path clear having no form of obstacles present and we seem strong; let us not forget that it is God who is blessing us, who is strengthening and keeping us on the right path. It is not you or me, not our own strength or efforts or skills, but the blessings of God. Let God be your strength when you are weak and your power when you are powerless. Trust and allow Him to make your way perfect because His way is perfect.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
