'And of some have compassion, making a difference' (Jude 22).

The Lord our God is  compassionate and full of love for His people and is admonishing us to be the same for one another. God expect us to  show mercy and possess a caring compassion towards others, even to those who doubt His truth, or those who are not seeking His truth. Instead of having a judgemental attitude or anger towards them; God is saying 'Of some have compassion, making a difference.' When we show mercy and compassion; dealing patiently and with love, to those who may have been exposed to errors that could be detrimental to their salvation, but yet not totally susceptible to those teaching, we can make a difference, through the bidding of the Holy Spirit. Our kind and gentle manner may influence their decision to turn to God. While Jesus was on earth, He touched the hearts of the vilest of men, turning them into saints. His love and mercy and compassion, even when reprimanding them, captivate the hearts of the sceptics, persecutors and doubters. There are those who have gone astray, even turn their backs on God and His truth due to false misconceptions or misrepresentation.  There are those who have fall into temptations or simple ignorant of the God's truth. However, they may still be open to conviction. We should show compassion; praying with them and for them; expressing genuine concern for them and their soul salvation; instructing them in love and meekness. Christ loves all sinners but abhor the sin we commit. We must do likewise as we follow Jesus. Be mindful that while pulling others out of the fire of their sin, we should save with fear, lest we become infected with their disease of sin. We should allow the Holy Spirit to work through us in saving the souls of men.

Have a wonderful day and a bless weekend 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
