'My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayers unto thee, and will look up' (Psalm 5:3).

Our God is awesome, powerful and mighty and is worthy to be praise. You must purpose in your heart each day to start it waiting for His direction. You must lay your requests before Him each morning when you rise up and wait expectantly for His direction. The Psalmist, direct his prayer to God each morning and made known to Him his requests; He wait patiently with expectancy  for God's direction. David, was a man of prayer who trusted the Word of God. He prayed with expectation that God would answer his prayer. Day by day he discovered that the mercies of God were new every morning and how great was His faithfulness. When we know God we will trust in His word, delight in His laws and meditate day and night on its truth. We will experience the joy of meditating on His word as we direct our thoughts toward Him. Each morning when we are awake we must first direct our thoughts to God, contemplating His greatness and reflecting on His goodness. We must then seek with sincere gratitude to give Him thanks and praise for spared life, refreshing sleep, protection and for His mercy and goodness. We should seek to make our requests made known to Him and wait upon Him. We know God will hear and answer us in His time and not ours, so we wait with expectancy. After all He is the One who knows what is best for us and the way we ought to go. In the morning Jesus' custom was to rise early and find a solitary place to commune with His Father. We too must do the same and commune with our Lord Jesus Christ. Remember, in the morning is a time for reflection - to think, to be quiet before God without any distractions. Its also a time for observation; a time for purpose and a time for prayer to the Almighty God. Let us take time out early in the morning and make our requests known to God and give Him thanks and praise as we wait with watchfulness.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead , yet shall he live;' (John 11:25). The story of Lazarus is a well known one in the Bible. He and his sisters Martha and Mary were friends of Jesus, who loved them. Lazarus became sick and died, and after four days Jesus raised him from the dead. This was more for benefits of those around including His disciples, so that they may truly believe that God had sent him.  He was speaking  with Martha who was more focused on the telling Jesus the problem, than demanding a specific solution. We too can be so focus on the problems we faced, that we forget that God is  much bigger that the problem and is our solution to them. When Jesus told her Lazarus would rise again, she understood it to mean he would live again someday. But Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live." Christ at this time, was able...

All our blessings; temporal or spiritual comes from him, which give us cause to trust Him forever. Christ our solid Rock in ages past and ages to come, is our Righteousness and and in Him we find shelter in the time of storm. We can trust Him at all times and in everything. To give us victory over sin and temptation; to bear us up under affliction and to help us withstand the spiritual attacks that may come our way. It is a good thing to put our confidence in the Lor...
