'Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved' (Acts 4:12).

Adam and Eve sinned and the consequences of their sin for all of humanity was death and separation from God. Christ, the Son of God had to leave heaven to solve the sin problem, by shedding His precious blood to save man. There was neither salvation in any other, whereby we could be save; it was only through the death and resurrection of Christ that it was made possible. As a matter of fact, salvation from sin was the purpose of Christ's life, death and resurrection. Even though Christ died for all, it is only those who accept him as their Lord and Saviour that will be saved by His grace through faith in Him; not by our own efforts or works. How blessed are those of us, through God's grace to receive the free gift of salvation? God loves and forgives us and is willing that none of us should perish, but to have everlasting life. But He cannot force us to accept His Son, Jesus Christ in whom alone salvation is found. It was His shed blood that paid the price for each of us. Therefore, everyone has to make that choice to accept and believe in the Person and Work of Christ in order to be saved. He alone is our blessed hope of eternal life and in Him is life, light truth and love. We who   accept Christ as our Lord and Saviour, must rejoice and proclaim the good news of salvation with great boldness, so that others can come to the Saviour and experience God's saving grace. For indeed, there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be save. Praise the Lord! Let us be thankful for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, and God's saving grace.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
