'For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good and sinneth not' (Ecclesiastes 7:20).

When God created man we were inherently good, until sin came into the world by the disobedience of Adam and Eve. Because of their sins, all of mankind have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We all have natural tendencies to sin. It is only Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came and live on this earth, was perfectly just, and went about doing good and never sinned. We can have the character of being a just person by the will of God and may even do good works but will always sin. When we accept Christ by faith and  become a new creature in Him, we are quickened by His spirit and become righteous through His own righteousness and is made good by the grace of God. Also in Christ we are made perfect! Let us not be self-righteous before God, thinking we are without sin because we do good and is considered just. But let us seek to acquire wisdom from above that will deliver us from such sin, and point us to the Saviour, Jesus Christ, Our Lord. We must not follow blindly others who can't help us spiritually, but seek to take every opportunity to study the Word of God for ourselves, to meet with and surround ourselves with spiritual mature and sound people who will help us grow. Let us keep before us, that there is not a man upon the earth, however just and good he may be, that will not  commit sin. With that in mind, let us watch and pray and continue to put our trust in the Lord, who has the power to keep us from sinning and to help us when we do. Let us seek refuge in God, the One who can make us just and good and be without sin. Remember, He came to earth and show us how, so let us follow in His footsteps as we look to Him who is able.

Have a wonderful day and a blessed weekend 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead , yet shall he live;' (John 11:25). The story of Lazarus is a well known one in the Bible. He and his sisters Martha and Mary were friends of Jesus, who loved them. Lazarus became sick and died, and after four days Jesus raised him from the dead. This was more for benefits of those around including His disciples, so that they may truly believe that God had sent him.  He was speaking  with Martha who was more focused on the telling Jesus the problem, than demanding a specific solution. We too can be so focus on the problems we faced, that we forget that God is  much bigger that the problem and is our solution to them. When Jesus told her Lazarus would rise again, she understood it to mean he would live again someday. But Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live." Christ at this time, was able...

'Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength' (Isaiah 26:4). In a time where there is so much confusion and uncertainty, God is calling us to trust Him always. All our blessings; temporal or spiritual comes from him, which give us cause to trust Him forever. Christ our solid Rock in ages past and ages to come, is our Righteousness and and in Him we find shelter in the time of storm. We can trust Him at all times and in everything. To give us victory over sin and temptation; to bear us up under affliction and to help us withstand the spiritual attacks that may come our way. It is a good thing to put our confidence in the Lor...
