'Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me' (John 15:4).

God's love for us is deep and that's why He came in the person of His Son to die for all humanity. So is Christ's love for each of us; as God's Children Christ's love for us, is compared with the mutual love that His Father has towards Him. We see here, how loved and special we are to our Creator, God. Christ loves us dearly as the Father loves Him, and demonstrates it at the Cross. As Christ taught his disciples to abide in him, He is teaching the same to all who will believe on him; that is, all who are saved by grace through faith in Him. When we are born again - by the water and of the Spirit, we have to bear fruit in our Christian life. It is our duty to obey and honour our heavenly Father, as we abide in Christ. For us to bear fruit, we must abide in Christ, for there is no other way. Christ is saying to us, today, to abide in Him and He will abide in us. He is saying that he is the Vine and you are the branches and except you abide in Him, you can't bear any fruit. It is through Christ - the Vine, that we - the branches, can be nourished, refreshed and strengthen. When we obey God's command and abide in Christ we will be fruitful, bearing bountiful supply of fruits in 10 fold, 50 fold and 100 fold. Christ is our example, and has abide and rest in His Father's love. We too must follow His footsteps and abide and find rest in His love; that we may receive all the nourishment and strength we need to flourish and bring forth  bountiful fruits. We have to know and acknowledge, that without Him we can do absolutely nothing; we need Him in our lives to function aright. Let us allow the Holy Spirit to abide in us; teaching, leading and guiding us to all truth - a knowledge of the Saviour, that we may grow in His grace. Let us seek to rest in Christ's perfect love and abide in Him day by day, hour by hour; giving all of life's burdens to Him as we look for hope of eternity with Him.

Have a wonderful day and a blessed weekend 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long" (Proverbs 23:17). We are ever to put the Lord first in every thing we do. Let our focus be on the Lord our God, Creator and Redeemer, rather than on sinners, even to envy them. David was tempted to envy the wicked, and remind us in Psalm 37:1 that we should not fret ourselves because of evil doers, or be envious against the workers of iniquity. The wicked will in time reap their reward and fall into mischief, as they hardened their hearts against God and His Word. Even, as Children of God, we are sometimes apt to be envious in our hearts, towards those who do not fear or reverence God; of their prosperity, pleasure and honour, which is not eternal. But we are admonished by King Solomon, that we are not to let our heart envy sinners: but to be in fear of the Lord all the day long. We must exercise our faith and trust in the Lord. We should not look to wicked and evil men who do not fear Go

'For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake' (Philippians 1:29). Those who believe on Christ, must also suffer for his sake. This is part of the Christian life, to live faithful in Christ. Paul makes it quite clear, that when we follow the will of God, we may have to suffer for Christ, even though we are faithfully living for God. The world hated Christ because of what he stood for, and will certainly hate all who follow and are obedient to Him. In following Christ and living a godly life in Him, will lead to persecution for His name sake. Christ's disciples suffered for him, as well as the Apostle Paul, who in Philippians 3:8 said he counted all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus His Lord; for whom he had suffered the lost of all things, counting them but dung, that he may win Christ. Christ is worthy of whatever sufferings we might face on our Christian journey, and we ou
