'But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us'
(Ephesians 2:4).

We can never fathom the depth of God's love for us. His love is infinite and we are finite. Every since man fall, God has given every evidence of His love and care; and we often fail to recognise His divine hand in our manifold blessings. God has endowed upon us everything we need to add comfort and happiness to our lives, because of His great love for us. When we accept God's precious gift of salvation - Jesus Christ, His Son, we have the privilege to become His children and be apart of His royal family. For God so love the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16). Without Christ we can do nothing, but through faith in Him, we  have the privilege to accept God's gift of salvation. When we become born- again believers, it means we accept Christ and his atoning sacrifice for our sins, which had separated us from God. We now become changed by God's mercy and love. His mercy, because we do not deserve his gift of salvation, but it is only on the basis of his mercy and through our faith that we are forgiven; and our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord. His great love for us enables us this salvation, its nothing we have done. He is love, and expresses his love by saving us from our sin. God's immeasurable love is so wide, so high and so abundantly deep, it is incalculable. He demonstrated His love towards us by means of His grace and mercy; equipping us through His Son for our eternal salvation. Let us seek to reflect on the richness of God's mercy and his infinite love, as we contemplate the Cross and what Christ did for us. For though we were dead because of our sins, God gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. What manner of love God has bestow upon us, His sons and daughters! Let us thank God for his grace that saved us and for his gift of salvation, through Jesus Christ.  Let us give thanks to Him, that he is the  God of love and rich in mercy.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
