'Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is' (Mark 13:33).

We know not the hour that Jesus will appear, but we do know He is coming back and is even at the door. Jesus said, "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father"
(Mark 13:32). He then continued to say in verse 33, "Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is." There are signs all around that foretell that the time is nearing, but we can't know when Christ will definitely return. Let us not put all our energy, time and effort in determining when He will come; instead let us be attentive and ready for His return. It was never God's intention for any of us to perish, but is, His desire for all to come to repentance and gain eternal life. If God is so desirous of saving us, why are we bent on destroying ourselves? Let us not waste time on the things of the world, or concentrate on the signs around us, but reflect on God's love for us and where He wants us to be. Where is your allegiance, with Christ and eternity or with Satan and death forever? God has given each of us the power to choose, so choose this day who you will serve. Make the best use of your time, today, because tomorrow is not promise to anyone. We see the turmoil on the earth; its turbulence times we are living in, where men's hearts are failing them for fear of what they are experiencing. But for those who trust in the Almighty God, their fear is in the Lord. As they trust in Him, they will soar like the eagles, they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint, because as they wait upon the Lord, he will continue to renew their strength. We are in the end time and a step nearer to Jesus's return; for God's people it will not be an easy time, we will face hardships, tribulations, persecutions for our faith and even martyrdom. We need to remain faithful to God and trust Him more, because he promises to be there with us in these troublesome times. We are admonished to stay awake, be alert and continue to pray that we may have the strength to escape all these things that is coming upon the earth, and be able to stand before Jesus, our righteous Judge on that day. We know we cannot do this in our own strength, but with the power of the Holy Spirit, we shall stand with faith, unwavering. Let us be ready for Jesus to come, and look to Him, the Author and Finisher of our faith; that when we face the horrifying hardship, imprisonment and persecution, as those before us had experienced, we will be able to stand, knowing it will not last forever. For one day we will overcome, because we have victory in Jesus.

Have a wonderful day and a bless weekend 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
