'Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come' (John 7:34).

Jesus Christ came to this earth to save us from the bondage of sin, and to restore us back to the Father. Those who should be a light to the heathen nations around rejected Him as the Messiah. They, the Scribes and Pharisees seek to silence Him on several occasions but were afraid of the people; also it wasn't Christ's appointed time yet to die. There are people today who also rejected Christ as the Messiah, the Son of God who died for them. Christ is calling us to take a stand and to take up our individual cross and follow him. The Holy Spirit is there pleading to the hearts of men to seek the Saviour, before it is too late. In the time of Christ, there were different opinions as to who he really was. What is your opinion of Him and what does He mean to you? Seek Jesus today, sit at his feet and learn of him. Study the Word of God daily, meditate upon it and pray  consistently, believing that Jesus is the incarnate Son of God. Today, if you hear the Saviour's voice, harden not your heart, close not your ears, but open your heart and be ready to meet Him when he returns. Now is the time to search for Jesus; when you search for him with your whole heart you will find him. The Scribes and Pharisees sought to kill the only One who could save and deliver them. They were looking for a Messiah with grandeur and kingly authority to save them from the Roman oppression, that they miss the opportunity  to open their heart and accept Jesus, as the Messiah. They totally rejected him and sought every way possible to get rid of him. Jesus looked upon them and said," Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come"
(John 7:33-34). Christ was saying to them, look my time with you are short, make use of it. One day you will desire the help and comfort of the Messiah to deliver you, but will not receive it,  who you are expecting as the Messiah will not come, because he is here with you already (They were still clinging to their false hope of what the Messiah should be). Where I am going you cannot come because I am the only way to the Father, and if you reject me, you reject the Father, and will never be in his presence. Let us not harden our hearts against what the Word of God says, nor reject the Holy Spirit's leading as he guides us and prepare our hearts for Jesus's Second Coming.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
