'Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name' (Psalm 86:11).

We all need God to teach us his way, to direct us in his path as we seek for grace and favour from him. But first we must accept that He is the eternal God and seek to experience a personal relationship with him. Having a relationship with God will help us to have total trust and confidence in Him. We, like David, need to cry out to the Lord, in total dependence and humility, as we submit to His will, and enabling Him to work in our lives. Each day we go through challenges and difficulties which at times  overwhelmed us. But knowing we can call upon the Lord at all times, and that He will answer us, bring assurance and greater confidence in Him. All who seek to know the Lord, must trust in his steadfast love; obey him more faithfully and praise and honour him more consistently. We are encouraged to seek the Lord in whatever situation we might find ourselves; to ask Him to teach us his way so we can obtain his favour and help; to walk in His truth and be faithful to him; to request and allow Him to unite our divided heart to fear his name, so we can worship, honour and obey Him. Let us in seeking the ways of God, submit ourselves to him, asking him to guide and go before us, that we may live a life that is pleasing to him, as we follow after him. It behoves us to walk after God's truth, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and to receive uprightness of heart that comes only from God; as we rejoice and be glad in Him. Let us pray that the Lord will take away our desires of the flesh and replace it with our desire for Him as he unite our hearts towards him.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
