'Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever' (Hebrews 13:8).

Jesus Christ our Lord, does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. His plans does not change or his nature. Whatever plans He had for us in the very beginning of time remains the same. Everything we needed to know has already been revealed, even though things we think we need to know has not yet been seen; but by faith we have taken hold of, by the grace of God. God is truth and truth does not change. The same gospel preached by Paul and the  disciples is the same gospel Christ admonished us to give to the world in our time. Christ does not change nor does His gospel, God does not change, neither is His truth. As believers we will come to a better understanding of truth as we grow in Christ, but God's truth will not change. When we know that God is constant and unchanging it builds trust and confidence in Him. God has not change, and He will never change, because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. God spoke and the earth came into existence, man sinned and God immediately spurned into action. He spoke and His Word is settled in heaven. What an amazing God! Jesus was able to claim that He was the "I Am" because before Abraham, He was.  In the last days God has now spoken to us through His Son, Jesus Christ, our Saviour. The One who is without beginning and ending and is from eternity. He is able to save us from our sins and to the utmost. He is beyond time, space and matter which were created by Him. He is the ever-present immutable God who never changes. He is the All-knowing, All-sufficient God of yesterday, today and will be forever. Today, if you hear His voice harden not your heart. Jesus is seeking your heart because He loves you and want to save you. His  plan of salvation is still available to all who are willing to accept it. You can trust Him, He is God and will not change His love for us; nor His nature; nor His character; nor His Word. He is eternal and an ever faithful God!

Have a wonderful day

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah' (Exodus 15:23). The Isralites were on a high after the Red Sea experience and their deliverance from slavery in Egypt and Pharaoh's army. The Lord led them this way become He wanted them to realise that He was their God, their Deliverer, and their Protector. The people  murmured against Moses and God, but the Lord showed them that He was still willing to guide and protect them and be their Healer, if they would look to Him. When they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters because they were bitter, so they murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink" (verse 24)? Sometimes  things happened to us in life, and we become very bitter and callous. It may be family issues; a friendship gone sour; conflicts; marriage broken down; sickness or even the death of a love one. But we need to guard against bitterness cree...
