Devotional - 30th Jul 2021

 'For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only, to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake' (Philippians 1:29).

We have been given the privilege of trusting in Christ, as well as, the privilege of suffering for him. Are you willing to accept these privileges you have been offered? Is it your desire to live a godly life in Christ? Then be ready to experience sufferings for Christ's sake. You might find that while you're living a godly and faithful life, you still experience much suffering. In 2 Timothy 3:12 Paul States,  "...All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." As believers, sufferings for Christ's sake and the endurance of trials and tribulations on his behalf, is part of the walk in Christ. Christ has promised to finish the good work that He began in us as we accept him as Saviour and Lord. No matter what difficulties or dangers we face, Christ did not promised it will not happen, or that it would be easy; but that when we go through fires and storms He will be there with us.  Let us therefore, take advantage of the wonderful privileges that has been given, of trusting in Christ,and , suffering for His name's sake. Let us embrace these difficulties and dangers with a thankful and grateful heart. Rejoicing in our sufferings, our faith will be tested and will result in us having patient endurance. All that we may go through cannot be compared with the glory of God, to be revealed in us one day by our Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us thank God for the privilege to believe in Him and suffering for His sake. When Jesus comes again in all His glory, he will redeem his faithful children to spend eternity with him.

Devotional - 14th Aug 2020

 'Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength' (Isaiah 26:4). In a time where there is so much confusion and uncertainty, God is calling us to trust Him always. He is our everlasting strength - the Rock of all ages, Jesus Christ our Lord. He is our refuge and strength in every trial we face and our everlasting Rock in every raging storms of our lives. He is our peace in the midst of perplexity and our Fortress in times of trouble who will cause all things to work together for good. All our blessings; temporal or spiritual comes from him, which give us cause to trust Him forever. Devotional - 15th Feb 2022

 'But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident for, the just shall live by faith' ( Galatians 3:11). Paul in speaking to the Galatians, admonished them not to listen to heresies, that would jeopardise their relationship with Christ. The same message is relevant to us today as well. Paul here was saying, following the law cannot save us. It is our trust in God and having  faith in his Son, Jesus Christ, that can make us  right with God. That was evident, that the just shall live by faith, not by our own works. It was Christ who had redeemed us from the curse of the law by the shedding of his precious blood.
