'For he that is dead is freed from sin' (Romans 6:7).
All who are in Christ will become a new person and will not live under the control of sin. But those who don't make Christ their life live under the control of sin. As we come to God by faith in Christ, we actually experience spiritual death. It is the spiritual death with Christ, being crucified with him and have been set free from sin. Let Christ take charge of our lives and not sin, that we may walk in His way and not in our own way. We must understand that just as Christ died physically, we have died to sin spiritually as we are no longer slaves to sin. We must strive to offer ourselves as instrument of Christ's righteousness. As Christ died, we died too in Him, which freed us from the law of sin and death. As sinners we are to rest in the shed blood of Christ our Lord for the forgiveness of sins. And as believers we ought to rest in Christ for the deliverance from sin. When Christ died the power of sin was broken in our lives - when we died with Christ, he who died is free from sin. Let us be thankful for the death of Christ for our sins and that we might be justified by faith, in his finish work on Calvary for the forgiveness of sin.
Have a wonderful day

The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...
