'Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day'
(Psalm 25:5).

Despite the constant pressures, oppression and challenges David faced in his life, he never stop trusting or relying on God. He always looked to the Lord in his prayers, with faith and obedience to the Word of God. David trusted in the Lord in times of great danger and waited upon Him with endurance, for his help and deliverance. We must make the Word of God our food that will nourish us spiritually; we must study and digest the Word of wisdom and truth; to live in obedience to God's Word as we seek to know and have a personal relationship with Him. When we allow God to lead us in his truth, and teach us the way to him, we will certainly know the truth, which shall set us free from sin. We will acknowledge Him as the God of our salvation, granted us through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord. We will choose to wait upon the Lord all the day, to renew our strength. As we pray for God's guidance and deliverance each step of life's journey, let us align our will with his and hope  in expectation for his deliverance and saving grace. Time and time again God has proven himself faithful. Let us too learn to be faithful to our God and allow Him to lead us by the way of his truth, that we might be able to manifest his spirit. Let us seek to have a teachable spirit to learn of Him and Christ crucified; to be sanctified by His truth as we continue to wait upon him. God is gracious and longsuffering towards us and must not grow weary of waiting upon Him. Today, allow the Holy Spirit work in and through you to transform your life and equip you for service to God. Let it be your desire to have a closer walk with Christ and to draw closer to His throne of grace, as you seek to worship the Lord your God.

Have a wonderful day

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
