'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness' (Isaiah 41:10).

Are you fearful, worried, anxious? Well it is ok to acknowledge that you are; be honest with yourself and face  your fears. It may be you're worrying about a love one who is sick; maybe you're fearful for your health or finances (most of us or). You may be worried about your children, about your job, etc. We are human beings and we worry about all these things, big and small. God knows we would struggle with fear and be dismayed when things befall us. He doesn't want us to be consumed by fear so he encourages us through Scriptures, 'to fear not', 'be not afraid.' He is not disappointed in us when we have fears. He is patient with us and keeps reassuring us that we need not be, because He is with us to strengthen us. He encourages us not to fear, so we will trust in His presence, and know He is listening and working on our behalf. To fear not means to trust God instead of believing our present situation or circumstance is bigger than God is. He also said we shouldn't be dismayed because He is our God. The song writer put it this way, "Be not dismayed what -e'er be tide, God will take care of you, beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you. Through days of toil when your heart doeth fail, God will take care of you; when dangers fierce your path assail, God will take care of you..." God has not left us by ourselves, He is ever present.  If you're weak, He promised to strengthen you; if you're destitute and in need of help, care, support, He promised to help you; If you are at a point in your life where you feel like you're sinking, you have given up, you have fell from grace, He said, "I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." God I'd ever-present and will not let us face our fears and frailties alone. He will take away our fears and equipped us for His  mighty works, if we allow Him to.  Today, acknowledge your fears, then pass them over to Jesus, then have no fear!

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
