'The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary...' (Isaiah 50:4).

All around us we see people suffering; people are lonely, worried, perplexed, depressed, in a state of confusion, having  mental health issues, indebtedness; which are due to adverse circumstances. Let us search out these suffering ones and speak a word of comfort to their hearts. There are people struggling from poverty, having to labour hard for very low wages, unable to provide the necessities of life for themselves and their families. They see  no way out or hope of a better future, and are carrying these heavy burdens without support. We need to reach out and sympathise with them through these trying times - through their heartaches and disappointments; with compassion, seek to help them where we possible can or where we can point them in the right direction for help. In this time of pandemic, where we are in lockdown, many have lost their jobs; their businesses; loved ones; their finances in shambles; some have lost hope. By reaching out with genuine concern and compassion, it will open up a way to help them. Then you're able to speak to them of God's promises, praying with them and inspire them with hope. God has instructed us to encourage one another, to bring hope to the afflicted and sorrowful; to those who are also weary  of sin and looking for change, but do not know how. Christ himself came to set us free from the burden of sin, and to suffer at a high cost for us - His life. He never shrink from it, because He knows that His cause will triumph at last. So let us speak a word in season to help those who are sin sick and weary. Let us speak as Jesus would speak and act as He would act; because He is our example to follow. We too might be going through similar circumstances that may cause us distress, disappointment, but our hope is in Christ Jesus who gives us the assurance to trust God. However, God needs us to help others have the blessed hope in Him, so they too can experience His love. We all need Jesus, He is our only hope of a better life and eternity.

Have a wonderful day and a bless weekend 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
