'Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a moment, until the indignation be overpast' ( Isaiah 26:20).

We are in crisis, one we have never seen before. But we need not worry, be overly anxious, or fearful. God is ever present. He is calling you,   His people to enter into your chambers and shut the door about you and hide for a moment until the situation is past. You may be asking, 'But what are the chambers where we are to hide?' They are the protection of Christ holy angels. The Word of God tells us that, 'The angel of the Lord encamps around about those who fear him and deliver them' (Psalm 34:7). We are living and dwelling in an awful time where there is fear, uncertainty, people mental issues are more prevalent than before, the government don't know what to do and the people are scared. In the midst of all this, God message is pointing His people to the only refuge they can trust in, their God. The God of heaven and earth, who is faithful; and no matter where they are, where they go and what happen, He will remain their God. When you think of the time we are living in - in lockdown and quarantine; think of Noah, how God shuts him and his family into the ark to keep them safe from His wrath. He is doing the same for His people at this present time, dispatching His angels to protect them from this dreadful pandemic. God is a loving  God and will protect all those who love and fear Him. He will protect them through life and death. When you cry out to God, He promises He will hear you. We must also remember, not because we are His children and doing the right thing; exempt us from earthly harm, dangers, sickness or sufferings. However, in the midst of it, He is there. Today, He is saying to you, "Wait with quiet faith, be confident in my plan, and be assured of my promise." Be ever grateful each day, pray and encourage someone. Keep looking to Jesus, be comforted because you know He is in control of the situation. Ask Him to allow you to help others in this time, whether it be a text, a phone call, through prayers, helping the elderly or those with disabilities to get their groceries, sharing the gospel with others from your home, share a testimony with someone who might be struggling, and many more things you can think of. So be not discouraged at what life throws at you, because God is with you through it all. He is making you new each day even in this time of crisis. He promises to take care of you and protect you, and He will.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
