'And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace' (John 3:18).

"Righteousnes" - integrity, virtue, purity of life, uprightness, is the condition of being in a right relationship with God. Are you producing a righteous attitude in your daily life? We are living in a time when people around us are living in anxiety and fear; many simple do not know what to do. What is your attitude towards them? Is the peace of God shining in your heart so you can express God's love and elevate them? Are you a peacemaker? The Bible says in Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God." Christ is the Prince of peace and will give a  crown of righteousness to those that are peacemakers. Peace is one of the fruit of the Spirit. When we endeavour to make peace among ourselves and others, we hereby sow to ourselves in peace. In making peace;  in sowing the seed of peace, you will reap in a great harvest - a harvest of the fruit of righteousness. It therefore behoves us to not only love peace but make peace, so we can through the grace of God bring about peace in a chaotic world. It is important to note, that we cannot cultivate righteousness, while remaining selfish in our motivation towards peace. Our motivation should be to bring men and women into a peaceful relationship with God and with each other. Righteousness can really be sown by those practising it and pursuing what is good and acceptable by God; As a result our reward is peace. To be a peacemaker, you have to sow peace, and the fruit of peace is righteousness. If you are the centre of discord and sow uneasiness, that's the fruit of unrighteousness. It's as simple as that! Reflect today whether you are a peacemaker, sowing the fruit of righteousness or one who  sows uneasiness.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
