'The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them' (Proverbs 11:3).

In our everyday life, we struggle with doing right from wrong. The Spirit of God is the best guide for those who are upright and we must honour and trust God. There are two ways to live: either the safe way, doing what is right; or the dangerous way, doing what feels good and sounds good. To be one of integrity is to always do what is right, regardless of difficulties or consequences; and that's what the upright does. They have constant guide through the Word of God and the voice of their conscience. The perverse on the other hand, do whatever they want, having no standards or parameters for their actions, so their perversity will destroy them. For example, in the Bible Haman was perverse and wicked, his ways were crooked; he conspired to take away the lives of others, but to his own demise He was hung instead for his wicked deeds (Esther 7:10).
When we know Jesus and obey him, God promises to guide us in our uprightness. The Bible tells us that, "Wherefore by their fruit ye shall know them." The deeds of our lives are the fruit we bear. Let us therefore, not place ourselves on the enemy's ground, by yielding to his temptations; but be a people of honesty and integrity, in all our dealings, whether in our personal lives or in our business deals. Remember, it is our sincere obedience to God's laws that will keep us from crooked and dangerous courses, and lead us in a right and safe way. Let us follow Jesus where ever He leads us and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us into God's truth so we can be led into the land of uprightness.

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
