"And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God' (John 20 :28).

Thomas one of Christ's chosen disciples was found to be a zealous disciple. He demonstrated a fearless attitude, and was willing to go up to Jerusalem to die with Christ when the Jews wanted to kill Christ. After Christ's death and resurrection, he appeared to his disciples on several occasions when Thomas was absent. When he heard that Christ had risen and others the others had seen him, he couldn't accept it. He had to see Jesus for himself. He wanted to see the nail print in Christ's hands and be able to put his fingers into the place of the nails and his hand in side before he believed. Can you imagine! how that was for Thomas when Christ appeared while they were all assembled together? He must have felt a bit shameful to have doubted that Christ had risen. However, Christ spoke with such love, as He uttered the words that came from the lips of Thomas earlier. Thomas astonished, and with overwhelmingly joy, said to Christ, "My Lord and my God!" What a confession! What a declaration! Have you ever doubted God in the past? Are you still doubting Him, maybe his love for you a sinful being? Maybe you doubt his forgiveness for a something you cannot forgive yourself for? Well, we can be grateful for the words of Thomas who doubted the risen Saviour, and is recorded in the Scriptures for our benefit. When we are in doubt, we are reminded that Jesus is our God and our Saviour. He didn't rebuke Thomas of his unbelief, but met him at his point of need and strengthen him to continue the work Christ had admonished him to do. We might not be able to to see Jesus as Thomas did. But are encouraged and comforted of the words of Jesus for you and me. "Blessed are they who have not seen, and yet have believed." Praise the Lord, we were on his mind. Though we have not seen Him, we by faith believe He is the Son of God who die to save us with His blood and rose again that we when He return, will be with Him eternally. Have faith! Trust God so you may live.

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
