'Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established' (Proverbs 16:3).

There is a saying that, "If you fail to plan you plan to fail." Almost everyone makes some sort of plan for their life. Whether they plan to get an education; plan to go an holiday; plan to get married; plan for their finances or their future; plan to accept Jesus and follow him, which is the best plan anyone could have. Why? Giving your life to Jesus is what will save you for eternity and bring success to you in life. People have plans; whether individually, collectively or corporately. The Scripture makes it clear, that we should commit to the Lord whatever it is we   intend to do and our plans will succeed. In other words, the key to our success is to allow God to be part of our plans. When you have a relationship with God, you want him to know what you're doing, you involve him in all your decisions. You humbly request for Him to align your plans with His plans. You invite the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you as you make these plans; as you commit them totally to the Lord. Today God is calling you to cooperate with him. He is saying I have a great plan for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end." Allow God, through the power of the Holy Spirit to work in and through you to accomplish His purpose and will for your life. Why nor start with Him each day? Every day commit your plans to Him; have a conversation about your plans and invite Him to be part of it. Seek His wisdom, guidance and advice. God wants what is best for you. Making  plans are absolutely fine. You may do the planning for what you think you need, but it is God who determines your steps as to where He wants you to be. Knowing God's plan for you, through His Word and aligning your will to His, give you confidence and assurance of success and trust that God will work everything out for your good. Let us commit all to God, have confidence in His plan for us and trust that He knows what's best for us.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
