'The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death' (1 Corinthians 15:26).

When Adam and Eve sinned it resulted into physical death for the entire human race. For when one is born, he is born in sin and shaped in iniquity, in need of a Saviour. It was only Jesus, the Son of God, that could come and save us from the curse of death and sin, and give us the hope of eternal life. Without the
resurrection of the body, Christ's sacrificial work on the cross would have been incomplete. It is Christ's resurrection that guarantees us resurrection to life; for all who believe on Him. It is Christ who shed His precious, lifegiving blood to pay for our sin. He arose from the grave, in His physical body so we might also be raised from the dead in our physical body before we are transformed from mortal to immortality, on His returns. And death the last enemy shall be destroyed. When we are grounded and rooted in Christ, we can rejoice and be glad because we know Christ will defeat death, his final enemy. Christ has already began that process of defeating death when He was resurrected, and will continue with the resurrection of His people who believe in Him; it will then become final when death is no more. Revelation 21:4  tell us that God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes and there shall be no more death... victory over death and sin will be complete. We have hope of that blessed day, so let us rejoice and be glad we have such a Redeemer as Christ. His love for us is immeasurable, it is so deep and wide and high; we cannot comprehend. Let us hold steadfast to Christ and cultivate a Christlike attitude throughout our christian journey, so we can make it into the kingdom of heaven. Have faith, and believe!

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead , yet shall he live;' (John 11:25). The story of Lazarus is a well known one in the Bible. He and his sisters Martha and Mary were friends of Jesus, who loved them. Lazarus became sick and died, and after four days Jesus raised him from the dead. This was more for benefits of those around including His disciples, so that they may truly believe that God had sent him.  He was speaking  with Martha who was more focused on the telling Jesus the problem, than demanding a specific solution. We too can be so focus on the problems we faced, that we forget that God is  much bigger that the problem and is our solution to them. When Jesus told her Lazarus would rise again, she understood it to mean he would live again someday. But Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live." Christ at this time, was able...

'For his merciful kindness is great towards us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise the Lord' (Psalm 117:2). The most important thing in life is having a relationship with God. It is through this relationship that we get to know our Maker and experience His love and His truth. When we recognised what God has truly done for us; of his great love and his faithfulness towards us; it should lead us to give Him praise and extol His holy name. God is kind to all his creatures and merciful to us as sinners, therefore, we know his merciful kindness is great towards us. In Christ, God has shown his mercy mixed with kindness, in giving up his Son to save us from our sins. For even though our sins be great, God's mercy is even greater than the sin. God's truth endures forever as his promises are sure. He is not slack concerning His promises to His people. He is trustworthy and faithful. The faithfulness and truth of God given in his promises never fails; nor does t...
