'In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him' (Ephesians 3:12).

God has called all people's of the earth to worship him, as their Creator. He wants them to have a relationship with Him; to know and trust Him. For all who  heed the call and believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, and Saviour -  the Son of God; we are now apart of the spiritual family of God. Paul prayed for spiritual strength of the Ephesian church that Christ might dwell in their hearts by faith. We too individually and corporately need spiritual strength, to carry on the work God has called us to do. The text  above points out two important benefits that we have in Christ. First, we have boldness granted by God.  That is, liberty to speak our minds plainly and freely; to be free from the spirit of bondage; to be able to speak with confidence. Secondly, we have 'access with confidence.' In other words, we have a way to the Father through our faith in Jesus Christ. We have confidence in God's power, faithfulness and willingness to fulfil His promise. Hebrews 4:16 admonishes us to come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Let us in  prayer, praise and Thanksgiving use our time wisely. We have been  given a wonderful opportunity to come with confident access into God's presence by our faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. As we approach the closing scenes of earth history, we need to live our lives in a manner that is pleasing to God. We need to have the confidence to know He hears and answers our prayers through our faith in Jesus. Having the confidence that our situations and the difficulties we face daily matters to God, and that He takes them and use them to work together for our eternal good. It behoves us to listen to God, to trust in His word, to believe in Him, that we through Jesus may have access to the throne of grace. It is indeed a privilege to have access into the presence of the Almighty God! What an awesome blessing to be called Children of God and with boldness and confidence have access to come into His Holy presence because of Christ and our faith in him. Choose Jesus today,   He is the answer to all our questioning.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
