'Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise' (Psalm 98:4).

We are called to worship the Lord who is our Saviour and Judge, in response to what He has done for us. To worship Him for His greatness in song and music. To celebrate His goodness, we are called to sing, shout for joy, play instruments, and applaud Him. When you experience God and what He has done for you, you can't but lift up your voice and praise Him. We have a Saviour who has been touched by our infirmities and can relate to what we are going through because He had been through it all. We have to give Him praise! When you praise, lift up your voice with strength as you rejoice and sing praises unto Him. Lift up your heart to praise and magnify the God of your salvation, for His great and marvellous works. How can we praise the Lord? We must praise in in our words; in our actions; in our thoughts; praise Him in our works; and praise Him in our life.  Praises to God is a lifestyle, it must always be apart of our life. We praise the Lord because He is worthy of it. We shouldn't sing half-heartedly in our praise to God, but with everything within us. For those of us who loves sports; whether it be tennis, football, Athletics etc., when our team is winning we celebrate and sing and make noise. We get excited about so many things in this world. Why not get excited with Christ, the One who purchased eternal life for you? It is He who gave His life at Calvary for ours, who shed His precious blood to cleanse us from our unrighteousness and to save us. We must be  excited about Him; when we speak of Him, when we think of Him. We ought to give Him praise and adoration all the days of our lives. Aren't you glad Jesus died for you, and is coming back to take you home with Him forever? Let us therefore extol the name of Jesus and give honour and glory to Him. He has freed us from the burden of sin; with His power He created us, with His blood He redeemed us and sanctified us. Let us praise Him in every situation and trust Him. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
