'In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul' (Psalm 94:19).

The Lord is our Fortress and our Rock in whom we  must take refuge. When you are experiencing anxiety or surrounded by great anxiety, you ought to turn to the Lord for help. Our help comes from Him, who made the heavens and the earth. The word of God said, "Be anxious for nothing...with prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let our request be made known unto God" (Philippians 4:6).  God will take care of our needs, therefore we have so cause to worry and be anxious. But if we do get upset and is beside ourselves at times, we know we can turn to God; He will calm us down and cheer us up. In His love we can find great relief and joy. In the multitude of our thoughts  - the many anxious thoughts we may be jostling with, we can find consolation only in God. No matter how much pain and affliction you might be going through, or the pressures that life  brings, God the fountain of all happiness will comfort and delight your soul. He is our only reliance; and take us from being worried to being happy. There may be lots of uncertainties, but we don't have to fear because we have God. When God is in our heart, we have His strength and we can lean on Him, there is no need to be afraid. God is our Rock where we can find comfort, strength and peace. His comfort is greater than all our troubles. We can therefore, rest assured in His comfort as our Father, in Jesus as our Saviour and Redeemer and the Holy Spirit as our Helper. We can rest in the  comfort of the Godhead, knowing that all things work together for good to them that love God. When you are face with anxiety or stress - a multitude of thoughts that may seem like you're doubting God, encourage yourself in the Lord, as you find shelter in Him. Be motivated by His love as you trust and run to Him. Let His comfort delight your soul.

Have a wonderful day and a bless weekend 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
