'Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy' (Psalm 33:18).

God's eye is upon everyone, but is directed specially to all who fear him. We need not fear anything else!  We should learn to fix our eyes on Him in faith, as we hope in his mercy. As we walk in the fear of the Lord, the Holy Spirit will bring comfort to us and cheer our hearts. With gladness we will praise the Lord, having a sense of purpose as we lift our hearts to Him with joy and sensing His great love for us. The Lord watches over us; He guards us from danger when we fear and trust Him. He is indeed our security and provider; He knows our wants and needs; He sees our danger and protects us. He is our Saviour who has the power and ability to deliver and save us. Who then can be liken unto our God? The answer is, no one! "The eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him." The eye of His providence protects us from danger and supply us with the necessities of life. His eye of watchfulness watches over our good,  and guard us from evil as He grants us His grace. His eye is upon those who hope in his mercy. It is our hope in the mercy of Christ our Saviour, who pardons our sins and redeemed us with His blood, that help us to meet his eye. We recognise our need for Him and the hope of having eternity with Him and is encouraged to give up all for Him. Let us fear the Lord as we meet His eye in prayer; in praise and thanksgiving; in the study of His Word; in exercising our faith and in outreach, as we labour for the souls of men. Let nothing prevent you from seeing the eye of the Lord; whether in good times or in troublesome times. Be at peace today knowing Jesus cares, o yes He cares; and His eye is upon you.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
