'Let brotherly love continue' (Hebrews 13:1).

When we have a personal  relationship with Christ, we will genuinely love our brothers and sisters without a doubt. Jesus in John 15:12 says, "This is my commandment, that he love one another, as I have loved you." When we think of Jesus' love for us, it takes us back to Calvary and what He has done for us; even further before the very foundation of the earth, we were thought about. Our love for one another is a living power that grows from our love for God. It should lead us to be sincere and selfless, spurring us to action. John express the love we should have towards each other, "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" (1John 4:20). When we love our brethren as Christ loves us, we will pray for each other; bear each other burdens;  we would forbear and forgive each other. We would  admonish each other in love, build up each other in faith as we give service to Christ. We ought to hold steadfast in the love of Christ and continue to cultivate and attain brotherly love. We have accept Jesus as our Lord, having a desire to submit to the guidance of His word and allowing the Holy Spirit to direct us. We must have a willingness to forgive our brethren, remembering Christ also forgave us and that we are all brothers and sisters in Him. We need as Christians to forgive everyone even those who are our enemies. However, all those in the faith, are recognised as our brethren; having one faith and one Lord, Jesus Christ. We are therefore  to encourage and strengthen each other in the faith, looking to Jesus as our Author and Finisher of our faith. Amidst all our imperfections, there is nothing so good and helpful as brotherly love; a kind word spoken, being generous, meek, patient; even in our sufferings. The love of Christ will continue unto eternity. Therefore, let brotherly love continue until Jesus comes to take  us home.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
