'The works of the Lord are great, sought out all them that have pleasure'
(Psalm 111:1).

When we love God we will obey him and seek to delight in His handiwork which is so great. The works of the Lord are great! When we look at His creation we marvelled; we stood in awe of the wonders of it all, at the immensity and variations of the works of his hand. In nature, we see the mountains with its different contours; the great oceans and seas ebbing and flowing to the command of God; the plants, flowers and fruits in their varieties and blend of colours; the function and facilities of the various animals; and man, the crowning jewel created wonderfully and beautifully in the image of the Creator, of which we cannot fathom the make up of the human body and function. We see the works of the Lord in his providence, as ruler of the whole universe. How great is the works of the Lord? We cannot fail to behold God's infinite wisdom and power in all of creation and His providence, or even to comprehend them. When we seek to find pleasure in the works of the Lord, we will search to understand through His Word, through nature, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and through prayers as we connect to the Almighty God. We will see His mercy, his love and kindness open before us in a way we could never imagine. In all the works of the Lord, by far the greatest is the works of redemption. It reveals the whole character of God. His love, his mercy, his truth, his justice and grace towards us which attributed to the death of His Son for our salvation. God is worthy to be praise; we must seek to glorify and honour him. There is nothing in which to compare His work. Our works are great in comparison to the works of others, but the works of the Lord are incomparable. Let us seek to find pleasure in the works of the Lord as we diligently sought or ponder them; remembering this promise, "All things shall work together for good to them that love God." Let us give God the highest praise and thank him with our whole heart for His marvellous works and for His saving grace.

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
