'For his merciful kindness is great towards us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise the Lord' (Psalm 117:2).
The most important thing in life is having a relationship with God. It is through this relationship that we get to know our Maker and experience His love and His truth. When we recognised what God has truly done for us; of his great love and his faithfulness towards us; it should lead us to give Him praise and extol His holy name. God is kind to all his creatures and merciful to us as sinners, therefore, we know his merciful kindness is great towards us. In Christ, God has shown his mercy mixed with kindness, in giving up his Son to save us from our sins. For even though our sins be great, God's mercy is even greater than the sin. God's truth endures forever as his promises are sure. He is not slack concerning His promises to His people. He is trustworthy and faithful. The faithfulness and truth of God given in his promises never fails; nor does the truth of the Gospel; nor Jesus Christ, who is the truth. He is the same today, yesterday, and forevermore. All people of God should give praise to Him, because He is worthy. The supreme God seek to communicate himself to his people, showing them mercy and kindness that they do not deserve and revealing His truth to all who will trust him. Just as God's merciful kindness prevails over us, so His truth prevaileth over him. His truth is the all in all of our comfort and should motivate us to give Him total praise. God is love and He is truth. His loyal love to us is very great and His truth continues forever, therefore, we should honour Him and with exhortation, give Him the highest praise. As we experience God's love we can find the meaning of our life. Lord thank you for your loving kindness and tender mercies toward us. Thank you for your truth that endures forever. Hallelujah!!
Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹
Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...
