'He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him' (John 3:36).

John the Baptist was the forerunner for Christ. He was the earthly witness sent by God to prepare the way for His Son, who was to come and save his people from their sins. He bore witness that Jesus Christ, the Son of God came from heaven as the Lamb of God, to take away the sins of the world. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. When we accept Him by grace through faith, we gain everlasting life. The Word of God declares, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). What an awesome and loving God we have! Anyone who does not believe that Christ came into the world to save sinners, and that salvation is a gift from God and can only be received by faith in Him - His death and resurrection and the power to forgive sin; will have no part with God and will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. It is only through Jesus Christ that anyone can escape the wrath of God - the anger of God for sin. Without faith in Christ, it is impossible to please God. Without Him you cannot enjoy true life of happiness in this world or the world to come. Yet many people choose to be in this state, of refusing to accept Christ as their personal Saviour from sin. The One whose love is beyond measure and is willing to bless them with peace, happiness, and joy of eternal life with him. For all who believe on the Son, hath life in his Redeemer, who save them by his blood; life in himself as the fruit-bearing branch of the living Vine, who is Jesus Christ;  life in the precious promises of God; and life of eternity with Christ. Let us take shelter in Christ through faith, so we will have eternal life with him and so escape the wrath of God. Choose this day, life eternal with Christ, it will be the best decision you'll ever make!

Have a wonderful day and bless weekend🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
