'Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name' (1 Chronicles 29:13).

O, we thank you our God, with our hearts and hands and voices. Let us  lift you up and give you praise for the challenges, the setbacks, disappointments, the experiences of Covid-19 and other situations that came upon us, this year 2020.  Are you grateful for being alive? What about the opportunities the Lord has granted you? God's hand of mercy is still on us, His love knows no end when it comes to us. Are you grateful for that? He is still providing for your basic needs, He is places his protection around us if we allow him. He grant us his peace that transcends all understanding. Are you thankful to God for all his bountiful blessings? The more we profess gratitude, the more we will notice things to be grateful for. Have you realised that if it wasn't for God's grace we wouldn't be here today. Therefore lets give thanks to our Lord and be grateful for everything, good or bad. As we have all sinned and come short of God's glory, let us praise him for His pardon and forgiveness. When we come to Him, asking for pardon, He said, "Thy sin and iniquities will I remember no more." We must give God thanks for the righteousness of Jesus, Who alone can remove our unrighteousness, which is as filthy rags. We must thank God for His acceptance of us and his unmerited favour that we dont deserve. Reflect on all that happened this year and make a list of all that you're grateful for. How can you say thanks to God, for all He has done? As you allow the peace of God to rule in your heart, thankfulness will overflow. Even in the darkest of times, we can praise God for his love, his Sovereignty  and his promise to be near us when we need him. When we become thankful, our gratitude will spur us into action of love. For God's love, which endures for ever, his compassion that are new every morning and his faithfulness to us; we can say, "Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name." Let us show our gratitude to God and each other as we come to the close of another year.

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
