'My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me' (John 10:27).

Jesus, the Son of God came down to earth to save us and to give us eternal life. He, our Good Shepherd, laid down his life for us because he loves us so much. But it is only those who believe on Him by faith, that He is the Son of God, will have the privilege to inherit eternal life and to reign with him for ever.
He is the way, the door that leads us to the Father; Just step right in, Jesus is waiting. He is the Good Shepherd that gives his life for his sheep and is the door of his sheep. He is calling and inviting all who are listening and would like to enter through this door and be saved. Jesus says, "I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine" (John 10:14). When we refuse to listen to Jesus and reject his call, we are separating ourselves from his flock. In other words, we are refusing salvation, which is a free gift to us. The Jews did not believe in him as the Messiah and Saviour of the world. They tried to trap Him in telling them clearly that He was the Christ. But Jesus response to them was,"I told you, and ye believed not...because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:25-27). Jesus is calling us to be his sheep, to know and to follow him, to believe on His name. He is our caring and loving Shepherd, who guards, protects and guides us. He lovingly tends and feed us and knows each of us by name, as we trust Him. Jesus who gave up his life for us, is pleading through the Holy Spirit to our hearts; to listen attentively and hear his voice, get familiar with it that we may trust the truth of all that He says and does, that we may know Him. Let us accept Jesus as our Good Shepherd, know and believe in him, as we recognise his voice, trusting in His gracious words that pour from his lips. Let us have receptive hearts that will trust Him even when we don't understand. Let us rest in His love, abide in his truth and purpose in our hearts to obediently follow him all the way. He who is faithful, promised us eternity with Him and that none shall pluck us out of his hand. May we seek to ever hear His voice and follow Him.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and Judge a

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won
