'Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?'
(1 Corinthians 3:16).

Jesus died for all people of the earth; from every nation, kindred and tongue, that we might be save for eternity. But it is only those, who by grace through faith that believe on Him and are born again that will be saved.
As believers, God's Spirit lives in each individual and collectively we are  considered the temple of the living God. You may ask,"How can a frail human being body be the temple of God? It is only as we trust in Jesus as our Saviour from sin, and have God's Holy Spirit resides in us, that we can become God's temple. It is a hugh responsibility and a wonderful privilege bestowed upon us by God himself, to be His spiritual temple. Together as believers we are the temple of God which his Spirit dwells in. We must seek to abide in the power and strength of Jesus Christ, and not our own strength. Submitting our will to the Holy Spirit as we die daily to self and live our lives in Christ. It is God who will and do good works in us. We must remember, that wherever God temple is, Christ promised to always be with us. Where two or three are gathered together in His name, he promised to be in the midst. What a great privilege we have! Just as the physical temple in Jerusalem was the special residence of God,  devoted to His service and was sacred; so we must see ourselves as holy, consecrated for his service and being one body in Christ - the church. The church has only one foundation, which is Jesus Christ our Lord and we together make up the church of the living God. The whole body of believers in which the Holy Spirit dwells - "The living stones, of which Christ is our High Priest. Let us open our hearts and allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in us; to convict us of our sins and to lead us unto the path of righteousness. Let the Holy Spirit be ruler of your life and dwell on the things He placed in your mind, as he draws you closer to God and prepares you to meet the bridegroom - Christ our King.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
