'Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once'
(Proverbs 28:18).

The Lord is our Protector and Waymaker. He is ever seeking to guide and lead us in the path of righteousness. Those who trust in Him and  walk uprightly, He promised to save. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord; perceive him as the Author and Finisher of our faith, He will be with us through whatever sufferings and calamities that may befall us. He will protect us when we are caught in the raging storms of life. But for those who trust in their own perverse ways, and turn away from the way of the Lord shall fall at once. When they least expect it, destruction will come upon them and it will be too late for them. We cannot at anytime serve too masters: one we will love and the other we will hate. We need to serve only the true and living God, who is able to save us. It doesn't mean that we will not encounter or have problems, issues or afflictions. But choosing to put God first, placing our trust in him and purpose to walk uprightly, we will enjoy a security, even in our present life. When we walk uprightly and with integrity, our Lord will preserve our comfort, our interests and reputation. He will protect us in the worst of times and bring joy and gladness in the best of times. It behoves us as children of God to stand up for Jesus and do all that is right, allowing the Holy Spirit to work upon our hearts and to aid us in our walk with the Lord. Let us choose today, to live a life of integrity; to exercise faith in God, that we will be able to receive his peace in the time of adversity and for protection in the time of need. We must seek to walk uprightly and be secure by God in the worst of times and not walk in our own perverse ways and fall for ever.

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
