 (Galatians 6:3).

We are all sinners that have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but by his grace and mercy we are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we should never think of ourselves more highly than we ought to be. We must at all times reflect and honestly evaluate ourselves by the measure of faith God has given us
(Romans 12:3). With the love of God in us, we must seek to bear each other burden, as we allow Him to transform our lives. We in ourselves are not qualified to anything of our own, because our qualification comes from God. As we open our hearts and allow the Holy Spirit to work that good works of Christ within us, we will do God's good will. We should never try to compare ourselves with others, but with humility and honesty seek always to discover what God is accomplishing through us. God has assigned us a measure of faith to do his will and we need to take responsibility for that which he has given unto us; to enhance not only our lives, but of those around us. As believers we should never see ourselves as the source of our own ability to follow Jesus, or even think ourselves too proud to carry the burdens of others. We must not see ourselves as self-reliant for anyone to help us carry our heavy load, but instead, recognise that we need each other for our journey to the kingdom of God. We should not deceive ourselves, by thinking we are better than others, more holier than others, not able to fall as do others, or look upon others with contempt or disdain. Those type of thinking and attitudes will only lead to destruction, because it is surely not of God. We must remember, that it is only through Christ that we are able to be  good and do good. It is His ways that will lead us to life and eternity with him. We of ourselves cannot attain to life and salvation! Without Christ we are nothing, so let us seek to have the mind of Christ and to be like him, not to think too much nor too highly of ourselves.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
