'Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness' (2 Corinthians 9:10).

Christ our Lord, not only create all things, but is the giver of all things. He is the incarnate Son of God; and in Him our sins are forgiven and our eternal life secured. When we give our life to Him, we become part of the family of God by his grace, and day by day we become transformed through the process of sanctification, as we become more and more like Christ. God provides for our needs and gives comfort through the Holy Spirit. God's desire is to work with us as we become co-labourers with Him for the souls of men. God loves to bless his children, but not for us to keep it for ourselves, but to share our blessings with others. Here we see Paul encouraging the Christians in Corinth to support their fellow believers in Jerusalem, who were destitute. He implored them to give generously and cheerfully  of what God had bless them with. He admonished them that it is God who is the ultimate Giver who provides both the seed for the bread, as well as, the bread itself. We of ourselves will not give freely because we are selfish beings; but it is God who makes us capable of giving. As we give, God will multiply our  seed sown, and increase the fruit of our righteousness. We will have the privilege of being used by God bear fruit. We should never see giving as an obligation, but as a willingness to participate with God in meeting the needs of others - the poor. As we give, God will increase our ability to give more generously, which will enrich our lives and bring glory to God. Let us by the power of the Holy Spirit, die daily to self and seek to live for Christ as we allow God to carry out His good work in our lives.

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
