'But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall walk, and not faint'
(Isaiah 40:31).

Every person on this earth goes through different situations on a daily basis.  Some of which might be challenging, some overwhelming and others just too much to bear. Even as believers, we do struggle with our various situations and difficulties and sometimes become overwhelmed by them. But God has promised that when we wait upon Him, He will renew our strength.  We can always trust and be confident in God's promises, because He is faithful and true to His word. Amidst our afflictions, sufferings, anxieties, stresses, it is important that we trust and believe in God's Word; wait upon Him and abide in Him as He abide in us. We must all be  encouraged by His promise, in particularly our youths. God is promising that in their distresses, the youths may  faint and be weary; the young men or women may stumble and fall. But if they wait upon the Lord, He will renew their strength. All of God's children who trust and wait upon Him, shall see their strength renewed and will soar high on wings like eagles. We will run and not be weary, we will walk and not faint. What a wonderful promise to all who will believe and wait upon the Lord! We must realise that our own inner strength or earthly gains are not sufficient to shield us from the many storms of life that might befall us. But it is only the power of God that is able to sustain and protect us from those ferocious storms of life. Know this, no matter how weary we may become its only God's grace that is sufficient for us. Let us take comfort in God's promise, as we wait upon Him, by faith. It is faith in His Word that will help us as we soar like eagles.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead , yet shall he live;' (John 11:25). The story of Lazarus is a well known one in the Bible. He and his sisters Martha and Mary were friends of Jesus, who loved them. Lazarus became sick and died, and after four days Jesus raised him from the dead. This was more for benefits of those around including His disciples, so that they may truly believe that God had sent him.  He was speaking  with Martha who was more focused on the telling Jesus the problem, than demanding a specific solution. We too can be so focus on the problems we faced, that we forget that God is  much bigger that the problem and is our solution to them. When Jesus told her Lazarus would rise again, she understood it to mean he would live again someday. But Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live." Christ at this time, was able...

To give us victory over sin and temptation; to bear us up under affliction and to help us withstand the spiritual attacks that may come our way. It is a good thing to put our confidence in the Lor...
