Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else'
(Isaiah 45:22).

Whether one wants to believe in God or not, the fact is, He is God the Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer. He is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent, and there is none  comparable to Him. He is a loving and just God and our Saviour, there is none beside Him. Israel was a chosen nation to bring the gospel of salvation to the heathen nations around. They were to be the light to the Gentiles and to glorify God in their presence. But they failed to obey God's commands, and as a result broke the covenant relationship with Him. However, God in his mercy and grace never give up His plan to redeem man; because of his love for us and His promise to Abraham and his descendants. Jesus came as was prophesied but the Jews rejected Him as the Messiah and the Gentiles were called to put away their idols and evil practices and look unto Jesus, and be saved; because He was God and there was none else.  Today, all who believed in Jesus as the Son of God and the Saviour of the world are urged to do the same. We are to turn to the Saviour who came and died for us that we may be saved. We are to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth, so people may believe in Jesus and be saved. Let us turn from our idols and evil surmising and look to Jesus, acknowledging him as the Sovereign Lord. For those who reject Christ and the many calls to repentance, one day God's wrath will be poured out on them ending in their destruction. Our Lord is soon to come, where at His name every knee shall bow to the King of kings, and every tongue shall confess that He is indeed Lord and give homage to him. If you hear the voice of Jesus speaking to your heart today, harken unto and turn to Him, he is the Lord and will save you; there is none else.

Have a wonderful day and a blessed weekend 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...
