If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come' (Job 14:14).

The Bible tells us that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. We know that because of sin, man will die. Nothing is more certain than death for all mankind, it was appointed by God. Jesus Christ, came to this earth  and died to save mankind and restore us to the image of God. When Christ died, he took the second death, that we wouldn't have to experience it, so we could enjoy eternal life with Him. We know that Jesus died and raised to life again and went to heaven to make intercession on our behalf with the Father, and is also the Judge of us all. We believe that He will return to take His faithful people home, but those who are unfaithful will experience the second death. The dead in Christ will rise from their graves at the call of their Saviour, then together with them, those who are still alive and remained on earth will be caught up into the clouds, changing from mortal to immortality to meet the Lord in the air, and be with the Lord for ever. Job is asking shall a man die and live again? In whatever state one shall die, that's the way he will come up at the resurrection. If you were in Christ before you die you will be in Christ when you are resurrected. If your were not in Christ when you died, you will be the same at his coming. So man can either live again in Christ as an immortal being or died forever at His coming, base on the choices he  had made while on earth. Let us by the grace of God seek to live for Christ through faith in him. To endure with patience our trials and sufferings until our change for better comes. Let our aims and desires be to live a righteous life through faith and trust in Christ, because we all shall have to stand before God some day, righteous and unrighteous (Acts 24:15). Be encouraged, that there is hope beyond the grave, if we are faithful to God. We have the choice of life eternal with Christ, will you choose Christ and life eternal today?

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
