'For if, when we were enemies, we reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his llfe'
(Romans 5:10).

Sin has caused separation from God and death to the human race, as a result of Adam's disobedience. If we continue to hold on to sin, and refused to let go of it, then we will die eternally, because sin has no part with God. Sin caused us to be enemies of God, but we have an anchor through the death of His Son, Jesus Christ. For all who believed in Christ, have been made right with God and saved from the condemnation of God. Through the precious blood of Christ, we have been reconciled to God and through our constant trust and faith in Him, shall be saved by his life. Our righteousness is as filthy rags, it is only through the Christ's righteousness that we can become righteous. Salvation is a free gift from God to all who will accept by grace, through faith in Christ. We are forgiven and declared righteous, even though we do not deserve it. Accepting Christ as our personal Saviour, makes it possible to have a right relationship with God. It is only through Christ that our relationship with the Father can be restored. Before Christ came to die for sinful man, we were considered enemies of God. However, since the death of Christ, all who trust in Him as the incarnate Son of God, are now considered beloved children of God. We are no longer separated or condemned by God, but shall be saved by the sinless and resurrected life of Christ. Let us be grateful for such a wonderful privilege we have in Jesus, that with confidence we can come to him freely with our concerns and difficulties. We should also be grateful for the precious blood of Jesus shed on the cross at Calvary, that freed us from the wrath of God, which was poured out on him instead of us. Let us recognised that, it was nothing we did to earn salvation, and that while we were yet sinners and enemies of God, dead in our trespasses and sin, that Christ our Saviour, died for us. He did so, to make us right with the Father again. Let us thank God for the assurance we now have in Christ that through His death and resurrection we can inherit eternal life.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and

'I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you' (John 14:18). Jesus is awesome and full of compassion. He loved his disciples and wanted them to understand about His death and resurrection; that He would be going away for a while. He knew they would be confused and devastated, so he hastened to comfort them. He said, 'Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me...I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also' (John 14:1-3). He also promised another Comforter, that he can abide with them forever. What a merciful and loving Saviour! He went further to say he would not leave them comfortless; but will come to them. He was like a father to them, as He and the Father are one. Therefore, He promised not to leave them fatherless, or as an orphan. But will come to them. Speaking of His death and resurrection He said that in a little while the world would not see him no more

'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4). God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trus
