'Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for He hath torn, and he will heal us; He hath smitten, and he will bind us up' (Hosea 6:1).

It is God who has created us, therefore, He has the right to do whatever he pleases with us. When we disobey or rebell against Him and his standard of government; He can tear us to pieces and then heals us; He can  injure us, yet bandage our  wounds. He is God and there is none like Him. He can take and give life; He can wound and he can heal us (Deuteronomy
32:39). He is our Healer and Restorer, the only One who has the power to do so, and he is calling us to Himself. Israel disobeyed and rebelled against God time and time again, yet when they called upon His name, he is there to rescue and deliver them. We too have wandered and gone  stray like sheep without a  Shepherd, doing our own thing, getting swept into worldly ways that will endanger us. But God is constantly seeking us, calling us to return to him, until like Israel we recognised there is no one else who love us like God and declared, "Come let us return to the Lord..."
We have to acknowledge there is no other way that is safe but in the arms of Jesus, our Shepherd and Saviour. He will bind up our wounds and heal our brokenness. He is patient and longsuffering towards us his children and will comfort and strengthen us when we return to Him. Just know, no matter how far you have strayed from God, he will never give up on you and his love will keep drawing you back. For some people it took years in their lives to accept the love of God and His sacrifice he made for them. There are others who accept His love and sacrifice, but at times strayed from God and he is calling them to return to him. His chastening rod may hurt or wound us, but his promise of grace will surely help and heal us. The point is, God is calling all to come to him, because salvation is found in him through Jesus Christ. Let us as believers, trust in the faithfulnes of God who will always remain faithful to us; and in the Saviour's love, knowing His promises are true and sure.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead , yet shall he live;' (John 11:25). The story of Lazarus is a well known one in the Bible. He and his sisters Martha and Mary were friends of Jesus, who loved them. Lazarus became sick and died, and after four days Jesus raised him from the dead. This was more for benefits of those around including His disciples, so that they may truly believe that God had sent him.  He was speaking  with Martha who was more focused on the telling Jesus the problem, than demanding a specific solution. We too can be so focus on the problems we faced, that we forget that God is  much bigger that the problem and is our solution to them. When Jesus told her Lazarus would rise again, she understood it to mean he would live again someday. But Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live." Christ at this time, was able...

'Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength' (Isaiah 26:4). In a time where there is so much confusion and uncertainty, God is calling us to trust Him always. All our blessings; temporal or spiritual comes from him, which give us cause to trust Him forever. Christ our solid Rock in ages past and ages to come, is our Righteousness and and in Him we find shelter in the time of storm. We can trust Him at all times and in everything. To give us victory over sin and temptation; to bear us up under affliction and to help us withstand the spiritual attacks that may come our way. It is a good thing to put our confidence in the Lor...
