'Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee' (Isaiah 26:3).

How can one have perfect peace? Of ourselves it is impossible because we are sinful beings. But when we trust in the Lord and allow him to shape and form our thoughts, motives, inclinations and the desires of our heart; He promises to keep us in  perfect peace - that inexplicable peace that comes from Him. Christ is the only means of our salvation, therefore, we ought to trust him as our Saviour. He will clothe us in His righteousness and will afford us peace with God. We trust God when we know him, we recognised his love and his mighty powers and know where he has brought us through, which gives us confidence in Him. No matter how far you have wandered from God, his love will never fails and he is still seeking after you to bring you unto himself. All one has to do is trust in the Lord and to keep focusing on him, and he will surely grant you his perfect peace. Unbelievers will not receive this inner peace of God. It is only those who by faith believe in Christ and are clothed in Christ's righteousness and walk in spirit and truth, while having continous fellowship with God,that will enjoy his inner peace, which is beyond human comprehension. Let us trust in the Saviour and ensure that the  thoughts of our hearts are ever fixed on him as we seek to hand them over to him. He who has promised is faithful and will not lie, and cannot lie because He is God. And He has promised to keep in perfect peace all who trust and keep their minds steadfast upon him. As we seek to walk hand in hand with Jesus, let us trust and obey him, because there is no other way to be happy and be saved but in him. Allow the Holy Spirit to be your guide to lead you to the Saviour.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
