'Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still' (Psalm 4:4).
God knows everything about us, because he is God, our Creator and there is nothing that can be hidden from him. He knows the heart and the intents of the heart; Our thoughts, emotions, desires and motives, whether they be good or evil. He knows the godly from the ungodly, and have set apart those who are godly for himself, and will hear when they call unto him (verse 3). We are all called to be in a right relationship with God. Those who accept this call should have daily communion with Him through the study of His Word, prayer and supplications, allowing the Holy Spirit access in their hearts, that they might not wilfully sin against Him. We need to search our hearts daily and be silent before God as we contemplate his grace and his mercy towards us, and He will reveal Himself to us. When our enemies seek to do us harm, or people speak lies about us, simply look to Jesus and trust in him. Do not let your anger control you to the point that it rule your actions and lead to you sin. In many a situation, people have done us grave injustice, and our human nature requires us to be angry and hit back where it hurts. However, we are encouraged to ponder our ways even as we lie in our beds and be still; to search our hearts and confess our sins for the day, so we can have that peaceful rest God wants us to have. As believers, it is in our best interest to trust God and not be afraid of those who seek to harm us or be aggressive towards us, but to be confident in the God who is our Stronghold and is always willing to fight our battles. He is our God, who is on our side; He will listen to us and hear and answer our prayers, so let us be encouraged allowing Him to lead and to help us, when we are in danger of being angry to the point of sinning.
Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...
