'He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty' (Psalm91:1).

How great is the goodness of God to all who trust and fear Him? He shall hide them in the shelter of his presence safe from those who conspire against them (Psalm 31:20). We are the apple of God's eye and he will hide us under the shadow of his wings
(Psalm 17:8). Therefore we must seek and draw near to Him. God's secret place is where all must aspire to be. All who know and have a personal relationship with God will find him to be a refuge and a strong tower of defence in times of trouble. It behoves everyone to seek to know God and have a lasting relationship with him, that they may dwell in His presence and abide with him. Our God is superior to all other powers sovereign above everything. We can find no safer shelter than what the most High provides. God is our Protector and we can rest safely in the shadow of his protection, because we know and trust him. When we love and honour God, we can count on His provision and protection, and with confidence know that he is in control of our present and our future,  and that nothing will happen to us without his approval. Do you seek to be in the bosom of God - His secret place? You must have a close relationship with God and enjoy intimate communion with him, to be admitted in the secret of his presence. God is our 'El Shaddai' - our all Sufficient God, who is able to do all things for his people. It is indeed a delight to abide under His  shadow. Let us seek to live in close fellowship with God and receive the blessings to dwell in his secret place. Let us not run only occasionally to it, but to reside in His secret presence every day. We must also seek to abide in Christ as he abides in us, and know the love of God in Christ Jesus; to dwell there, to whom to live is Christ.

Have a wonderful day 🌹🌹EC

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
