'For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved'
(Romans10:13).

The Bible states that all have sinned and come  short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). As sinners we all have redemption in Christ Jesus, therefore we must believe by grace through faith in Him. It does not matter what race or culture  we are from, for the Lord gives his riches to all who call upon Him. When we place our faith in Christ and call upon His name, seek his salvation, we shall be saved. Paul was saying back then, that whether they be Jews or Gentiles, it didn't matter to the Lord, as long as they turn to Christ in faith, believed and call upon His name they shall be saved. Christ came to save all humanity, and when we come to Him and confess that He is Lord, believing that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved.  Just as how Paul had a deep desire for his fellow Jews to accept Christ as their Messiah and Saviour of the world, we too must have a great desire for souls to be won for the kingdom of God. As believers, we need to point unbelievers, as well as, those who are searching to know truth, to the Messiah. Let then know what Jesus did at the Cross for them and us alike. Joel and other Old Testament prophets of God called Israel to repent of their sins and turn back to the Lord their God. In the New Testament, we have John the Baptist, the disciples and Paul calling both Jews and Gentiles alike to repent and turn to the Lord. As believers we too are called by Jesus to go and tell all nations of the good news of salvation, the Gospel of Christ. Salvation is offered to all who will believe and call upon the name of Jesus    Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Let us  therefore, trust in the Lord and call upon His name that we can be saved in God's eternal kingdom. The time is now!

Have a wonderful day🌹🌹

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord' (Hebrews 12:14).  God is a God of peace and of such wants His Children to seek peace between themselves and others. We are also encouraged to pursue a life of holiness, which can only happen through having a relationship with God and being empowered by the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we turn the eyes of our heart upon Jesus, fixing the thoughts of our minds on Him, that His peace, like a river flows into our heart, and His holiness becomes a reality in our life as we consecrate it to Him. We are called to be holy in our thoughts, in words and our deeds; but cannot achieve it by our own efforts.  W e must be consecrated in body, soul, and mind, but not of our own strength. It is only through the empowering of the Holy Spirit that we can pursue holiness and be at peace with each other. Without the Holy Spirit leading us to live a life of ho...
