'And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed' (Mark 1:35).
Jesus the Son of God, who knew no sin, whilst he was on the earth rose early in the morning while it is still dark, went to a solitary place and prayed to His Father concerning all that lay ahead that day, for himself and his disciples. Jesus needed to develop and maintain fellowship with the Father. We too need to rise up early before day break and pray to God, so we can develop and have fellowship with Jesus Christ our Lord. Sometimes you may have things weighing on your mind when you arise in the morning. It is a good thing to commit your concerns to God and trust Him to work them out. Just as Christ spend quiet time with the Father, he wants us to come aside and spend quiet time with Him, so we will be able to recharge for the days activities. We ought to be filled with God, in order that we may accomplish the mission he has commission us to do. Let us spend time with Christ as we keep our focus on him instead of ourselves. It is important to spend quiet times with Christ without family or friends, that we can be strengthened to do the work Christ want us to do; and to also strengthen and encourage others, who may lack faith or in need of Jesus, to intercede on their behalf. Let us begin each day by partaking of God's Word, to meditate on it and pray before we became weary with the care of the day.
Have a wonderful day

The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...
