'Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God' (Isaiah
50:10).

Our trust is in the Lord and when we fear and obey him, we will not walk in darkness, but in his light. In fearing the Lord we reverence and worship him in awe, because we know who he is. The question was asked in the passage of Scriptures, "Who is among you that feareth the Lord? The answer, "We must obey the voice of his servant."  There was another question asked, "Who is it that walketh in darkness and hath no light?" "Let him trust in the name of the Lordvand stay upon his God.  Can we identify with all those who feared the Lord and obeyed the voice of Christ, the Lord's servant?  Let us seek to fear God and to hear his word and to submit to his ordinances and his will; So we might not find ourselves walking in darkness, having no light.  Instead Let us simply trust in the Lord by faith, having confidence to depend upon his power to protect, to provide for our needs, his wisdom to guide us, his grace and mercy, his goodness, being the All-sufficient one to supply all our needs. Today, seek the Lord whilst he can be found. Let us try to imitate Christ's example and not rely on our own strength and power. This will not help us, unless we put our trust in God, as we lean on his everlasting arm. It was Christ who is also God, that took upon himself the form of a servant to die for us and then reconciled us back to the Father.  Let us therefore stay on the coast and trust God with godly fear as we call upon him.

Have a wonderful day

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...

'For his merciful kindness is great towards us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise the Lord' (Psalm 117:2). The most important thing in life is having a relationship with God. It is through this relationship that we get to know our Maker and experience His love and His truth. When we recognised what God has truly done for us; of his great love and his faithfulness towards us; it should lead us to give Him praise and extol His holy name. God is kind to all his creatures and merciful to us as sinners, therefore, we know his merciful kindness is great towards us. In Christ, God has shown his mercy mixed with kindness, in giving up his Son to save us from our sins. For even though our sins be great, God's mercy is even greater than the sin. God's truth endures forever as his promises are sure. He is not slack concerning His promises to His people. He is trustworthy and faithful. The faithfulness and truth of God given in his promises never fails; nor does t...
