'Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength' ( Isaiah 26:4)

In a time where there is so much confusion and uncertainty, God is calling us to trust Him always. He is our everlasting strength - the Rock of all ages, Jesus Christ our Lord. He is our refuge and strength in every trial we face, and our everlasting Rock in every raging storms of our  lives. He is our peace in the midst of perplexity, and our fortress in times of trouble. He caused all things to work together for good. All our blessings; temporal or spiritual, comes from God and gives us cause to trust him forever. Christ our solid Rock in ages past and ages to come, is our righteousness and in Him we find shelter in the time of storm. We can truly trust God at all times and in everything. He is able to give us victory over sin and temptation, to bear us up under affliction and to help us withstand the spiritual attacks that may come our way. It is a good thing to put our confidence in the Lord, our Rock. God's banner over us is love, so let nothing prevent you from totally trusting in Him. In Christ we find daily protection and defense, therefore, we should seek to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not to our understanding, but acknowledge Him in all our ways and he will direct our path. We must rely on Him in every trial, because he will see us through. Let us trust in the Lord for His peace forever, knowing that whatever we trust the world for will last only for a moment, but trust in God is eternal. Let us keep trusting God even in  difficult time.

Have a wonderful day and a blessed weekend

'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you' (Matthew 6:33). The Lord is our Provider and knows all that we are in need of before we even ask. We do not need to worry or fret ourselves about what we shall eat or drink. Our Father in heaven will take care of these things we need. We are told by Jesus, 'To seek first the kingdom of God.' What does that mean? It means we should lean on, and trust in the grace of Jesus Christ. We should repent of our sins and have a desire to turn away from it. We should seek to put God first in our praise to Him, in our worship of Him, to put our total trust in Him and to rely on Him  rather than ourselves or others. We need to seek Him first in our reassurance and acknowledging who He is and what He can do. We also need to seek God's righteousness by  loving our neighbors and feeding the poor and destitute, seek justice for the vulnerable. We should put God's plan and...

'Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world;' (Titus 2:12). The grace of God brings salvation to all men, seeking a change in our conduct and attitude towards God and one another. It advocates a turning away from sin, and helps the believer in Christ to reject sinful desires and refrain from ungodly living. The grace of God teaches us to avoid behaviours that are sinful and will not enhance our lives; but it is to move us towards right behaviour and right thinking. Paul was instructing Titus to teach   boldly and with authority the conduct and behaviour God expects from His people. To encourage right thinking and behaviour by them living soberly, upright and godly lives. We are also encouraged as Believers in Christ to do the same. We must allow ourselves to be taught by the great Teacher, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we search the Scriptures daily an...

'For his merciful kindness is great towards us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise the Lord' (Psalm 117:2). The most important thing in life is having a relationship with God. It is through this relationship that we get to know our Maker and experience His love and His truth. When we recognised what God has truly done for us; of his great love and his faithfulness towards us; it should lead us to give Him praise and extol His holy name. God is kind to all his creatures and merciful to us as sinners, therefore, we know his merciful kindness is great towards us. In Christ, God has shown his mercy mixed with kindness, in giving up his Son to save us from our sins. For even though our sins be great, God's mercy is even greater than the sin. God's truth endures forever as his promises are sure. He is not slack concerning His promises to His people. He is trustworthy and faithful. The faithfulness and truth of God given in his promises never fails; nor does t...
