'For with God all nothing shall be impossible' (Luke  1:37).

When life gets difficult, it sometimes seems tough to hold unto our faith in God. But it is true to say, no matter the storms, you can be comforted  and have the assurance that we can put our faith in God and trust Him. There is nothing that the Lord cannot do; he is the Giver of all all good things. He doesn't want anything bad for us, because He loves and cares for us. He is the God of possibilities and can make our impossibilities possible. God's promises are true and sure, there is no doubt about that! Christ himself is the fulfilment of all that God has promised. It is important to note that, no promises of God will ever fail; He is the Omnipotent God who created all things; his Word is truth and his truth is consistent with his perfect nature and spotless character. Let us seek to put total trust in God in every circumstances of our lives, and believe that nothing is impossible with God, whether in His promises to us, or in what we may have requested of him. As we experience Christ and the Immutable love of God, let us demonstrate that trusting faith in Him, believing nothing is impossible with him. In the Bible we see instances of God's possibilities. At creation, God created the heaven and earth out of nothing, through the power of His Word;  God's promise of a son to Abraham when Sarah had long passed the age of child bearing. There are countless possibilities of God in his words, that should leave us without a shadow of doubt of what our God can do. Nothing is impossible with God, who came to earth in the Person of His Son, born to a virgin girl - a human being; to die for a world that didn't deserve to live. What amazing love! Let us therefore, trust God no matter what. Even when we don't understand, just like Mary; but we too like her can testify that with God nothing is impossible.

Devotional 'The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed' (Psalm 28:8). The Lord our God is the glory of our strength, and in His name we shall rejoice all the day. The Lord is our strength, and the saving strength of His anointed. It is through Christ our anointed that all our blessings come to us. Here we see David, who is a type of our Lord Jesus, praising God. What about you? Christ had done much for us and has achieved full salvation for us, therefore, praise Him! We, like Israel are encouraged that the Lord is our Strength and salvation. When we seek to be in a  relationship with God, He will protect us from our enemies and save us from the crutches of Satan. Just as how Satan attempts to destroy Christ many times, whilst he was on earth, God  saved him and will do the same for us. Christ died to save us all, but it is those who trust Him and have a saving relationship with him that will spend eternity with. He is our High Priest, and J...

'I protest by your rejoicing  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31). Christ our Lord came and died for each and everyone to save us from the bondage of sin. He lived on this earth, ministered to the needs of all who He encountered; He was crucified, and resurrected and is now interceding for us, as our High Priest in Heaven. What if there was no resurrection? What would be the implications for God's people? The preaching of the gospel would be a lie, our faith would be worthless and we would all have remained in our sin. Paul is saying, there would be no cause to his dying daily, or for any one who believed and accept Jesus as their personal Saviour to die daily. Paul was expecting death at any time for Christ's sake. He was constantly in peril of his life, he encountered extreme sufferings and was beset with death. He was willing to die at anytime and in any way for Christ's sake. He did not count his life dear unto himself, but...

'The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing' (Zephaniah 3 17). What an amazing and wonderful God we serve, who is mighty to save. The Lord our God is with us and is mighty to save. He will take great delight in us and will quiet us with his love, and also rejoice over us with singing. We didn't have to do anything for God to love us, he did because he created us and we are His. He created us and loves us just as we are. Even when we did not deserve it, the Lord took delight in us. What an awesome God! He is present in the midst of us, loving and caring for us. He protects and defend us; died to save us from sin, so we can have life and have it more abundant. He is mighty to save us from fears; our enemies and the bondage of sin and death. We all need a Saviour, Christ the Lord, who is the cure for our problems and the antidote to sin. Christ has already won ...
